Exhibit Hall

Discover the Lower American River

Our 700- square foot Exhibit Hall allows visitors to explore the natural and cultural history of the Lower American River. This museum houses a permanent riparian (interface area between land and river) exhibit featuring the local flora and fauna of the American River Parkway, and a rotating main exhibit with hands-on activities, educational games, and beautiful photos and art.

We are currently featuring our Bountiful Harvest main exhibit examining Native American life along the American River, including Maidu replica artifacts that help us understand the customs and culture of these early residents. The below photos show visitors enjoying the current exhibit.
