On Saturday, June 9, 2018 the American River Natural History Association (ARNHA), and the Sacramento Fine Arts Center will present the ninth annual Art Where Wild Things Are - art show, auction and gala - celebrating interpretations of the natural world.

About the Event: This event brings together art patrons, philanthropists, artists and nature-lovers for what has become the most important fundraiser of the year for the Effie Yeaw Nature Center, a non-profit education and visitor center operated as a community service by ARNHA.
We are pleased to welcome Pat Mahony - celebrated and award-winning local artist - and Randy Getz, Executive Vice President, CBRE & Crocker Art Museum Board Member as the Honorary Event Chairs. The charming Eileen Javora, KCRA 3 Meteorologist, is the event Emcee.
About the Art Show: The art show, featuring creative interpretations of local nature in a variety of media, will be juried by artist Boyd Gavin, and artist and philathropist Marcy Friedman. The show runs May 15 - June 2 at the Sacramento Fine Arts Center, with an evening artists' reception on Thursday, May 17. More details available at: www.sacfinearts.org
