Bring your home school group on our beautiful nature preserve and explore the animals and plant life in a guided tour. Our staff is extremely knowledgeable about the local wildlife and there is never a shortage of animals and plants to find and learn about. Every season brings new changes to the preserve - if you have questions about what to expect and how to prepare please give us a call.
Bring your home school group to the Effie Yeaw Nature Center for a customized, educational tour of our Nature Study Area Preserve and introduction to one of our resident animals representing a native species of the Sacramento region. After the tour your group is invited inside the Nature Center for self-guided exploration of the museum exhibit and more native species of Sacramento wildlife. Curriculum is designed for school age children k-8th.

Note: It is helpful to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your program to allow restroom breaks for your group and a prompt start time for your tour.
Fee: $130 per program
Up to a maximum of 18 people, including adults, infants and toddlers, are allowed.
