Have students enjoy and hands-on learning experience where they will practice the basics in panning for gold while learning about the history of California’s Gold Rush that helped drive settlers to the hills. All supplies and materials are provided and everything is brought to your location (access to a power outlet is needed for our laptop and projector).
Gold Discovery Program
Grades 3-5
Eureka! At your school, students will pan for gold and participate in a visual historical telling of the discovery of gold in California, its impacts on society and the environment.
