An Evening of Native
American Music

$30 per person
Friday, August 5, 2011
7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
At the Effie Yeaw Nature Center
(Directions to the Center)
ARNHA and the Effie Yeaw Nature Center invite you to a concert of Native American music presented by Mary Youngblood and Sisters of the Earth.

Mary Youngblood

Mary, one of the premier Native American musicians in the country, is a two time GRAMMY winner and EMMY nominee and the first Native American person to have won two GRAMMYs.  When Mary performs, it takes only a moment to recognize the profound spirituality of the sacred Native American flute and its historical courtship and wooing attributes.  Her haunting music is much more than a song -- it is liquid poetry, a prayer.

Hear Mary Youngblood on Youtube.
Visit Mary Youngblood's website.
