Young at Heart Programs -- Age 55+
Awaken the child within as you enjoy a leisurely walk along winding oak woodland trails and come upon grazing deer, pecking woodpeckers, or scurrying lizards. You could choose to visit us for this walk at the Effie Yeaw Nature Center or we will come to you with our “Young at Heart” Program. The Effie Yeaw Nature Center offers “Young at Heart - Walks & Talks” programs designed for the 55+ “kids.”
Young at Heart Walks
Gather your friends and find yourself “young at heart” for the wondrous outdoors. A Naturalist will lead you on a customized tour that can include anything from a nature walk to a close-up encounter with a resident animal. We can adjust these programs to fit your group’s interests and needs.
Young at Heart Talks
Allow us to come to your facility and bring the wonders of nature to you through a special program catered to your group’s interests. Our naturalist will be happy to present information as well as artifacts, hands-on activities and live animals.
This is a perfect program for senior centers, retirement communities, assisted living facilities and more!
