Explore the miracles of spring in the beautiful oak woodland and meadows of the Effie Yeaw Nature Area, in small groups guided by Audubon experts.

You'll have the opportunity to be guided by an expert who can answer your questions.  Is that a dirty sock hanging in that tree?  No, it's a bushtit nest!  And that tiny cup the size of a quarter, built with lichen and spider webs?    A hummingbird nest!

Your group will return to a a delicious breakfast prepared by your hosts, the American River Natural History Association and a chance to discuss the highlights of your experiences with fellow enthusiasts.  This event is a fund-raiser for educational programs on the American River Parkway.

Don't forget your binoculars!
